India, Sept. 1 -- The Ministry of Jal Shakti Departmental Summit will bring together political leaders and senior officials from the Centre and States in a major push towards strengthening cooperative federalism and achieving the vision of a Water Secure India and Viksit Bharat 2047. The two-day summit, being held on September 1-2, 2026, at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi, is the first in a series of Departmental Summits envisioned as a platform for closer Centre-State collaboration.
