India, June 15 -- IndiGo has become the first airline to commence commercial flight operations from Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The airline will directly connect the newly inaugurated airport with over 16 destinations across India while enabling one-stop connectivity between several Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, strengthening regional air travel and boosting connectivity across North India.
