India, May 6 -- Vietnamese President To Lam was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday, marking the start of his first State visit to India since assuming office.

President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the visiting leader, with traditional performances and children waving Indian and Vietnamese flags adding to the reception.
