India, March 11 -- India is securing its energy supplies by diversifying crude oil and gas import sources beyond West Asia, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Tuesday, assuring that domestic fuel availability remains stable despite geopolitical tensions in the region.
Speaking during an informal interaction with the media, the minister said India's energy imports continue to arrive through multiple sources and supply routes, helping maintain stability in the country's fuel supply chain even amid disruptions caused by the conflict in the Middle East.
According to Puri, the government has taken proactive measures to ensure uninterrupted supply of key fuels for households and priority sectors.
