India, Feb. 10 -- India has enhanced its standing in the Network Readiness Index 2025 (NRI 2025), moving up four places to 45th.
The report, released by the Portulans Institute, assesses 127 economies based on performance across four categories: Technology, People, Governance, and Impact.
India's score rose from 53.63 to 54.43 out of 100 between 2024 and 2025. Notably, India is ranked first in several areas, including "Annual investment in telecommunication services," "AI scientific publications," "ICT services exports," and "E-commerce legislation."
