India, July 22 -- India's total primary energy supply (TPES) increased to 39,055 Petajoules in 2024-25, up from 37,936 Petajoules in the previous year, the government informed Parliament. The renewable energy potential also more than doubled to 4,704,043 MW as of March 2025, reflecting the country's accelerating clean energy transition.
