India-Kyrgyzstan Ties See Renaissance Ahead of PM Modi Visit
India, Aug. 29 -- India and Kyrgyzstan are witnessing a renaissance in bilateral relations, with cooperation expanding across political, economic, investment, education, cultural and tourism sectors, Kyrgyzstan Tourism Minister Eduard Kubatov said. He expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit will create new avenues for strengthening the partnership.
Kubatov said Kyrgyzstan is looking forward to welcoming PM Modi for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, which will mark the organisation's 25th anniversary. More than 20 heads of state and government are expected to participate in the summit, which Kyrgyzstan considers a significant international event.
