India Hosts BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Delhi Today
India, May 14 -- The BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting is set to commence in New Delhi under India's 2026 chairship, against the backdrop of escalating geopolitical tensions in West Asia and a rapidly evolving global order.
Chaired by S. Jaishankar, the two-day ministerial engagement will bring together foreign ministers and senior representatives from BRICS member countries and partner nations. Delegations have begun arriving in the national capital, with participants also scheduled to meet Narendra Modi during their visit.
As the first major ministerial-level engagement under India's BRICS presidency, the meeting is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the agenda for the Leaders' Summit later this year.
