India, Sept. 30 -- Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy Shri Shripad Naik held a bilateral meeting with a delegation of the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) in New Delhi on September 24, 2026. The discussions focused on strengthening India-EU cooperation in the power sector and identifying new areas for technological and institutional collaboration.

The meeting covered a broad range of issues, including energy security, power-sector transformation, low-carbon development, nuclear energy, carbon markets and emerging technologies.
