India, Aug. 10 -- India has rejected concerns over the proposed FCRA Amendment Bill 2026, saying it aims to improve transparency, governance and oversight of foreign funding rather than restrict lawful civil society. Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra said registered organisations can continue receiving foreign donations for health, education, research, humanitarian and faith-based activities.
