India, May 30 -- The development comes amid efforts to reassure markets about India's energy security and uninterrupted fuel supplies, with authorities confirming that domestic refineries are operating at high capacity with adequate crude inventories.

Officials said sufficient stocks of petrol and diesel are available across the country, while domestic LPG production has been increased to around 52 thousand tonnes per day to support rising consumption.
