India, Oct. 5 -- India and Switzerland on Monday signed several agreements to strengthen cooperation in trade, sustainable infrastructure, transportation technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Swiss President Guy Parmelin reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations during their meeting at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

The agreement on the Exchange of Young Professionals will facilitate temporary employment opportunities for young professionals in each country, helping them develop professional and language skills. The programme provides for an exchange of 300 people annually from each country, with the possibility of increasing the number to 500.
