India, Oct. 14 -- Secretary, Ministry of Power, Pankaj Agarwal held a bilateral meeting with Gerassimos Thomas, Director-General for Taxation and Customs Union at the European Commission, in New Delhi to discuss India's carbon market development, the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and opportunities for enhanced technical cooperation. The meeting focused on strengthening engagement between India and the EU on carbon pricing frameworks, emissions accounting and approaches to managing the climate-related aspects of international trade.
