India, Jan. 2 -- Commercial LPG cylinder pricing in India is tied to international benchmarks, reflecting global LPG price movements.
The government announced a Rs 111 increase in commercial LPG prices due to a rise in the average Saudi Contract Price, which increased from $385 per metric tonne in July 2023 to $466 in November 2025.
However, domestic LPG prices for household consumers remain unchanged, benefiting from significant reductions and subsidies for economically disadvantaged groups, such as those under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).
