Nepal, July 15 -- The Ministry of Heavy Industries has invited global bids to set up 10 GWh Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) battery manufacturing capacity for grid-scale energy storage under the PLI Scheme. The initiative aims to strengthen domestic battery production, support renewable energy integration and reduce India's dependence on battery imports.
