India, Sept. 28 -- Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is visiting Qatar from September 27 to 29, 2026, leading a delegation of senior officials from the Ministry of Finance. The visit includes participation in the 11th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Doha.

Sitharaman will attend the AIIB meeting in her capacity as India's Governor to the bank. She is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with AIIB President Zou Jiayi and her counterparts from Jordan, Switzerland, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Nepal. The AIIB Annual Meeting is scheduled for September 28-29 under the theme "Tomorrow's Infrastructure: Impact and Innovation."
