Centre Revamps Urban Affairs Ministry with Two-Department Structure
India, July 31 -- The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has been restructured into two separate departments to strengthen urban governance and improve administrative efficiency. Union Minister Manohar Lal announced the creation of the Department of Capital Development (DCD) and the Department of Urban Development (DUD) during the Parliamentary Consultative Committee meeting on Urban Planning.
