India, June 12 -- The Central Government has granted a retrospective customs duty exemption on specified imports used for nuclear power generation from April 1, 2019, to January 31, 2026. The move covers non-irradiated fuel elements and fuel cartridges used in nuclear reactors and is expected to benefit Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) while supporting India's clean energy expansion goals.
