India, Sept. 8 -- Former Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) Executive Director (Projects) B. H. V. Prasad has taken charge as the Managing Director of ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL). The appointment brings an experienced energy-sector professional to the leadership of one of the major integrated petrochemical companies within the ONGC Group.

Prasad brings with him more than three decades of experience in the energy industry. He joined MRPL in 1993 and went on to serve in several important leadership roles across Projects, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Strategy and other key business functions. He superannuated from MRPL as Executive Director (Projects) on May 31, 2026.
