India, Aug. 5 -- The Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) has enabled 12.69 crore cashless hospital admissions worth 1.92 lakh crore through over 37,000 empanelled hospitals. The scheme has significantly reduced out-of-pocket healthcare expenditure and expanded coverage to senior citizens and frontline workers.
