India, April 28 -- A 30-year-old youth was safely rescued after climbing atop a 33kV power transmission tower and threatening to jump in the Chauliaganj police station area of Cuttack on Tuesday.

The youth, identified as Naresh Marandi, had climbed the tower at Kumbharmunda, triggering panic among locals.
