Woman RI among 2 held for taking Rs 35,000 bribe in Odisha's Puri
India, Sept. 7 -- The Vigilance sleuths today arrested two officials of the Revenue Department, including a Revenue Inspector (RI), in Odisha's Puri district on charges of taking Rs 35,000 as bribe from an individual to process a mutation application.
The arrested have been identified as Kalyani Jena, the Revenue Inspector, and Purna Chandra Behera, the Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), of Siula under Pipili Tahasil in Puri.

The two officials allegedly sought Rs 35,000 as bribe from the individual for processing and forwarding the enquiry report in the mutation case for land conversion.
