India, March 23 -- Police have arrested two persons for allegedly issuing a death threat to former Odisha PCC president Jayadev Jena through WhatsApp. Jena had lodged a complaint at Nandipada police station on March 9.

Acting on the complaint, police launched an investigation under the direction of the Keonjhar SP, forming two special teams to trace the accused.

Accused nabbed from Jajpur district The suspects were arrested from Nuagaon village under Mangalpur panchayat in Jajpur district during a late-night operation.

The arrested accused have been identified as Rakesh Natia and Hara Mohan Barik. According to SDPO Kamal Kumar Panda, Hara Mohan allegedly sent the threat message after being instigated by Rakesh.
