India, April 18 -- TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) has stepped up efforts to strengthen its power distribution infrastructure across northern Odisha to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during the peak summer season.

The utility is enhancing its operational framework across Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Kendujhar districts, aiming to maintain grid stability amid rising temperatures and seasonal Kalbaisakhi (nor'wester) storms. The company is preparing to handle a projected peak demand of 1,805 MW.
