India, Aug. 21 -- Odisha Vigilance officials have so far seized cash worth Rs 10.74 lakh and unearthed several high-value assets during searches linked to Muralidhar Urmal, OAS, Tahasildar-cum-Sub-Registrar of Lathikata in Sundargarh district.Geographic Reference

Urmal was intercepted on Thursday while allegedly carrying Rs 5 lakh in suspected ill-gotten cash. Subsequent searches at his premises in Sundargarh and Rourkela led to the recovery of an additional Rs 5.74 lakh.Law Enforcement
