India, April 24 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today announced summer vacation for all schools across the state from April 27 in view of the ongoing intense heatwave conditions.Odisha Culture Blog
According to a press release issued by the Chief Minister's Office, the decision has been taken prioritising the safety and well-being of students as temperatures continue to rise sharply in several parts of Odisha.
The proposal put forward by the School and Mass Education Department received the Chief Minister's approval. As per the directive, all government, government-aided and private schools in the state will remain closed from April 27 onwards.
