India, April 4 -- Shaktikanta Das, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister, visited the World Skill Center (WSC) in the Odisha capital on Saturday, reaffirming the growing national focus on advanced skill development as a cornerstone of India's economic transformation.

Das reviewed WSC's state-of-the-art Centres of Excellence in Vertical Transportation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Beauty & Wellness, and the School of Hospitality. He appreciated the institution's advanced infrastructure, modern training methodologies, and strong emphasis on industry-aligned, outcome-driven skill development.
