India, June 23 -- In a major relief for thousands of aspirants, the Odisha government has rescheduled the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026 to July 5, resolving a scheduling conflict with the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) recruitment examination that was also slated for June 28.

The decision was announced on Tuesday after concerns were raised by candidates who had applied for both examinations and faced the prospect of appearing for them on the same day.
