India, July 21 -- Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday apprehended a Revenue Inspector of Kalosihira Circle under Kuarmunda Tahasil in Sundargarh district for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 from an applicant in exchange for issuing a land demarcation report.

The accused has been identified as Anita Jena, Revenue Inspector of Kalosihira Circle. According to Vigilance officials, she had allegedly demanded the bribe from an applicant seeking the demarcation report of his ancestral land.
