India, Oct. 6 -- Odisha Vigilance has arrested Arabinda Mohanty, Executive Engineer (EE) of the R&B Sub-Division at Betanati under the R&B Division, Baripada, in Mayurbhanj district, in a disproportionate assets (DA) case.

Mohanty will be produced before the Court of the Special Judge, Vigilance, Baripada, the agency said.

The arrest followed searches conducted at multiple locations linked to the engineer. According to Odisha Vigilance, Mohanty was found in possession of assets allegedly disproportionate to his known sources of income, which he could not satisfactorily explain.
