India, Sept. 8 -- Odisha Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena has launched a new WhatsApp-based system to receive and address public grievances related to the Transport Department.

The minister said he has been personally receiving complaints through WhatsApp for the past week. A dedicated WhatsApp number, 6371912718, has been provided for people to submit their grievances.

Jena said the department will review the complaints received and work towards resolving them at the earliest. He also announced that a daily bulletin will be issued highlighting the number of complaints received and those resolved.
