Odisha to issue corrected Class I textbooks soon; Minister denies reported errors
India, Aug. 6 -- The Odisha government on Thursday said corrected versions of the newly introduced Class I textbooks would be supplied to students soon, even as School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond denied reports that the books contained the kind of errors being highlighted in the media.
The clarification came after a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to review the controversy surrounding alleged errors in newly introduced school textbooks.
