India, April 18 -- Amid continuing heatwave conditions across the State, a 44 year-old man died of suspected sunstroke in Odisha's Sambalpur district today. The deceased has been identified as Biswajit Sahu (44), a labourer from Jhankarpali (Rasiapali) under Sambalpur Sadar police limits.His death is being suspected as the district's first heatstroke-related fatality this season.

According to reports, Biswajit was engaged in concrete work at a construction site on Saturday morning when he suddenly complained of uneasiness and collapsed between 9 am and 10 am.
