India, Nov. 5 -- A high-level delegation from Japan's Tottori Prefecture, led by its Governor Shinji Hirai, is scheduled to visit Odisha from November 10 to 12, said the Industries Department on Thursday.

The visit will focus on expanding business partnerships, strengthening institutional cooperation and building closer connections in skill development, entrepreneurship, education, culture and tourism.

"The visit comes at a time when Odisha is attracting growing interest from Japanese businesses across sectors. Odisha's industrial ecosystem, availability of natural resources, expanding infrastructure and opportunities in manufacturing and food processing offer considerable scope for collaboration," stated the Department.
