India, Sept. 27 -- Odisha MLA from Udala, Bhaskar Madhei, faced an uncomfortable situation while visiting a flood-affected area in Mayurbhanj district, with a video of the incident circulating widely on social media.

The video purportedly shows a man abusing the MLA using obscene language and allegedly attempting to assault him during his visit. Madhei is seen trying to reason with the man, but the latter continues to behave aggressively.

The MLA is also seen expressing his displeasure over the man's conduct.

Speaking about the incident, Madhei said he had visited the flood-affected area to take stock of the situation. During the visit, he saw a youth distributing food free of cost and thanked him for the initiative.
