India, Sept. 1 -- Odisha Lok Bhavan in Bhubaneswar has achieved a major milestone in sustainable infrastructure by securing Platinum certification under the Indian Green Building Council's (IGBC) Green Campus Rating System, becoming the first Lok Bhavan in the country to receive the recognition.

Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati received the certification from IGBC National Chairman C. Shekar Reddy at a programme held at the New Abhishek Hall of Lok Bhavan on Tuesday.

Lok Bhavan scored 88 out of 100 points, placing it in the highest category of the IGBC rating system.
