India, March 25 -- In a move to boost clean energy infrastructure, the Odisha government has directed Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) to waive permission fees for laying underground pipelines and related City Gas Distribution (CGD) infrastructure.Odisha tourism guide

The initiative is expected to accelerate the rollout of PNG connections.

As per an order issued by Housing and Urban Development Department Additional Chief Secretary and IDCO Chairperson Usha Padhee, no fresh permissions will be required for ongoing or already sanctioned projects. The decision aims to eliminate procedural delays and ensure seamless project execution.
