India, Nov. 3 -- Preparations are underway for the much-awaited Eco Retreat near Konark, with the administration stepping up efforts to ensure the timely completion of arrangements for this year's edition.

Puri Additional District Magistrate (Protocol) Nilamadhab Bhoi and Sub-Collector Raj Kishore Jena recently reviewed the preparatory work during a meeting and a field visit to the proposed venue near Saukhanta Mouza. Officials from various line departments also participated in the review.

The administration is planning to present the Eco Retreat in a more attractive and refreshed format this year. Visitors are expected to be provided with modern tents featuring a new design, along with well-furnished rooms to enhance their stay.
