India, Sept. 19 -- Odisha has emerged as a 'Frontrunner' among the states in Indian Electric Mobility Index (IEMI) 2025, unveiled during the State EV Policies Review and Recalibration Meet convened by NITI Aayog in New Delhi recently.

The state has secured an overall IEMI score of 55. In the two areas particularly relevant to urban mobility, Odisha has scored 58 in Transport Electrification Progress and 57 in Charging Infrastructure Readiness, placing it in the Frontrunner category in both parameters.
