India, Sept. 22 -- In a reshuffle of IPS officers, the Odisha Government today appointed Dr Saravana Vivek M as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Bhubaneswar. He will replace Jagmohan Meena, who is to be relieved.

Meena had resigned as the Bhubaneswar DCP citing personal reasons.

Advertisement Vivek M, a 2015-batch IPS officer, is currently serving as the Superintendent of Police (SP), Brahmapur.

According to a notification issued by the Home Department, Abhinav Sonkar has been appointed as the new SP of Brahmapur. Sonkar, a 2019-batch IPS officer, is currently serving as the SP of Dhenkanal.Send Money Overseas
