Odisha braces for heavy rainfall as low pressure area forms
India, Sept. 10 -- Several parts of Odisha are likely to receive heavy rainfall on Thursday as a low pressure area has formed over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the low pressure area formed at 5.30 am on September 10 under the influence of an upper-air cyclonic circulation over the North Bay of Bengal and neighbouring Bangladesh.
The weather system is expected to bring increased rainfall activity across Odisha.
