Odisha accelerates clean energy transition and industrial expansion as nation's energy growth engine
India, Aug. 5 -- Positioned as the nation's "Energy Growth Engine," Odisha is accelerating its clean energy transition and industrial expansion, targeting the addition of nearly 11 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
Speaking as the Chief Guest at a conference of the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Energy Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo highlighted Odisha is a power-surplus state.
