India, April 24 -- In a tragic mishap, two persons lost their lives after a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Gunupur in Odisha's Rayagada district today. The incident took place near Bada Baridi.

The deceased have been identified as Shiba Mandangi and Arka Bhugana. According to preliminary information, Shiba had gone to Chinariguda village for some personal work. While he was returning home, his motorcycle reportedly collided head-on with another bike ridden by Arka, who was travelling from the opposite direction near Baridi.
