Odisha: Transport Minister orders crackdown on vehicles sans valid documents
India, Aug. 10 -- The Commerce and Transport Department in Odisha will adopt a stringent approach against vehicles operating without valid insurance and other mandatory documents.
Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena has expressed concern over the large number of vehicles plying on roads without valid insurance. He has directed strict enforcement measures to ensure full compliance with motor vehicle regulations in accordance with the directions of the Supreme Court.
