India, April 9 -- The Khurda district administration has announced a change in the working hours for government offices to mitigate the possible heatwave situation in Odisha.
Khurda Collector Amrit Ruturaj today issued an order in this regard.
As per the order, all state government offices and Revenue as well as Executive Magistrate courts in Khurda district will operate from 7 am to 1 pm without a lunch break from April 10 to June 15.
However, the change in the working hours will not be applicable for the government offices located in the capital city of Bhubaneswar.
