India, Nov. 7 -- In a heartwarming gesture, Kandhamal MP Sukanta Kumar Panigrahi has announced that he will take responsibility for three children who were orphaned in the devastating cyclone Arnab in OdishaThe three children belong to families affected by the cyclone in Kandhamal district. During his visit to various cyclone shelters in the district, the MP met affected families and assured them of all possible assistance from the government.

He said the government stands firmly with the affected people and that adequate compensation, rehabilitation and other necessary assistance would be provided to all eligible families. He also assured them that he would remain beside them through their difficult times.
