India, July 11 -- In a tragic incident, two persons died of suspected asphyxiation inside an under-construction septic tank in the Odisha capital here today.

The incident took place in BJB Nagar area of the city in the afternoon.

As per reports, two labourers were engaged by a resident of BJB Nagar for construction of a septic tank on his premises.

The two labourers fell unconscious after they felt difficulties in breathing while removing the centring of the under-construction structure around 2 pm.

On being informed, the Fire Brigade personnel reached the spot and rushed the two labourers to the Capital Hospital in a critical condition. However, the duo was declared dead on arrival by the doctors.
