India, Aug. 26 -- Komna Tehsildar and an Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI) have been suspended in connection with a land fraud case in Odisha's Nuapada district, after an inquiry found irregularities in the alleged sale of land belonging to two siblings without their knowledge.Odisha Cultural Events

The case relates to Satyanarayan Pradhan and his sister Kumudini Pradhan of Chandopala village under Komna tehsil. They had alleged that their land was sold without their consent or knowledge. A subsequent inquiry reportedly found the allegations to be true.

Following the allegations, Nuapada Collector directed the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) to conduct an inquiry into the matter.
