India, Sept. 2 -- An MBBS student of MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Odisha's Brahmapur city reportedly went missing three days ago.

The police have launched a probe after receiving a complaint in this regard from the authorities of the institution.

Advertisement As per reports, Sagar Sahoo, a first year MBBS student of MKCG, went missing on August 31.

The MKCG authorities lodged a complaint in this regard with Baidyanathpur police in Brahmapur after they failed to trace Sagar, a native of Jajpur district.

On the basis of the complaint, the police initiated an investigation. The cops reportedly recovered Sagar's mobile phone from a place near Brahmapur railway station. However, they are yet to trace the missing student.
