India, July 3 -- The decomposed bodies of a 49-year-old man and his 47-year-old wife were found in an abandoned well in Odisha's Keonjhar district today.

The couple, identified as Khageswar Soren and his wife Tuni Soren of Baliparbat village under Daitari police limits, was missing since June 27.

As per reports, Khageswar, a native of Dahara Sahi village of Rasola panchayat, had settled at Baliparbat around a decade ago.

Khageswar and his wife Tuni went missing from their home seven days ago. Their family members had lodged a complaint in this regard with police after they failed to trace the couple.

However, some villagers spotted the decomposed bodies of the couple floating in an abandoned well.
